Dishwasher Reviews: Countertop, Built-In, Compact and Drawer Models

This page is the way into our individual dishwasher reviews. Each card below leads to a full page on one model, covering its size, capacity, programs, noise and the verdict we reach from the spec sheet, owner feedback and price.

If you already have a model in mind, scan the card titles for its name and number. If you are still choosing a type, the titles also tell you the format: countertop, portable, built-in, compact or drawer. Start with the format that fits your kitchen, then compare the models within it.

When a single review is the right page

A review suits you when you have narrowed the choice to one or two models and want the details that decide a purchase. These include exact dimensions, place-setting capacity, the wash programs on offer, the drying method and the sound rating. A broader guide is better when you are still deciding between formats.

Reading a review also helps when a model sits on your shortlist but something about it worries you, such as a small tub, a missing cycle or a hookup that needs extra parts.

What decides a dishwasher purchase

Fit comes first. A built-in must match the cabinet opening, usually 18 or 24 inches wide, while a countertop unit needs free counter space and a spot near the sink for its hoses. Capacity follows, since a household that cooks daily outgrows a small tub quickly.

After that, look at noise, drying performance, cycle options and installation needs. A quiet rating matters in open-plan homes, and a portable or countertop model asks for a faucet connection that not every sink accepts.

If you cannot find your model

Not every dishwasher has its own review yet. If yours is missing, look for a model of the same format and similar width, and compare its specs against the one you are considering. Tub size, rack layout and the available programs carry over well between similar units.

Model numbers often differ by a single letter that signals a color or a minor feature change, so check the full number on the product page before you rely on any review.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find the review for a specific dishwasher?

Scan the card titles below for the model number, which is the most reliable identifier. If you only know the format, look for words such as countertop, built-in, compact or drawer in the title and open the cards that match your space.

Is a review the same as a ranking?

No. A review covers one model on its own terms and ends with a verdict for that dishwasher. A ranking compares several models side by side for a particular need. Use a review to check a specific model, and a ranking to choose between options.
